The first Kea Challenge trail running race will be held on Saturday and Sunday 13 & 14 April in Kea island of Greece. The sport event will promote the local cultural heritage in various ways.
In the main village of Kea, Ioulida village, visitors can find a lion statue laying in a field. No-one really knows when and why it was build and now it has become the trail race mascot.
In order to promote the cultural heritage of Kea island, the Lion will be presented in various merchandise of the race, such as the official T-shirt.
If you want to get one, register to participate here, or just send us a message to buy one without running. The cloth is 100% polyester of white color and besides the logos of the race, it has a half lion head in the front side. The price to pre-buy the T-shirt (until 2 April 2019) is 18€.
